Chandigarh, September 8 – Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the country has achieved significant milestones in development and public welfare over the years. The welfare-oriented policies, development initiatives, transparency and good governance of the Central and Haryana Governments have brought about positive changes in people’s lives, while the country continues to move forward with the resolve of building an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

 

The Agriculture Minister was interacting with people during his tour of Jorian village, Apna Park in Farakpur, Ravidas Mandir, Mandebari, Kheri Rangran and Jagadhari Railway Workshop.

 

Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said that the Seva Sankalp campaign will be organised across the country and the state from September 17 to October 17, 2026. Under the campaign, Ministers and MLAs of the State Government will reach out to people in their respective Assembly constituencies and apprise them of the transformation brought about through development and public welfare initiatives.

 

He said that basic amenities such as sewerage, drains, streets and drinking water facilities have been strengthened in villages falling within the Municipal Corporation limits and other urban areas of the Radaur Assembly constituency. He said that the government endeavours to ensure that maximum development works are completed in the constituency so that their benefits reach the people.

 

The Cabinet Minister said that, under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, multidimensional policies are being implemented for the welfare of every section of society and the equitable development of all regions of the state, guided by the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.

 

The Agriculture Minister said that information about schemes and services of various departments is being taken to the people through the public service campaign. The government is working with a firm commitment to transparency, good governance and public service. He urged people to obtain information about government schemes and avail themselves of their benefits if eligible, adding that the government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person in society.

 

Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said that the government is working for the welfare of the last person in society in accordance with the principles of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He informed that a morning walk will be organised at the Grain Market, Radaur, on September 25, 2026, to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He called upon workers, sarpanches and villagers to participate in the programme along with their families.

 

During this, the Agriculture Minister also listened to the grievances of the people and directed the officers concerned to ensure their prompt redressal. He said that reaching out to people, listening to their concerns and ensuring their resolution is his utmost responsibility.
