Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ Will Take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 Years of Service and Good Governance to the Masses: CM Nayab Singh Saini
Chandigarh, September 5: A state-level review meeting was held on Saturday at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini regarding the effective implementation and successful organization of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, which will be organized from September 17 to October 17 on the occasion of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi completing 25 years of public life and service to the people. The meeting reviewed in detail the preparations for the campaign, the organization of various programmes, and their effective and timely implementation with the concerned officials.
Cabinet Ministers Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, Sh. Rao Narbir Singh, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, Sh. Vipul Goel, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi and Arti Singh Rao, along with Minister of State Sh. Gaurav Gautam, were present at the meeting. In addition, Minister of State Sh. Rajesh Nagar joined the meeting through video conferencing.
Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, Sh. K.M. Pandurang, and Director of the Department, Dr. Aditya Dahiya, provided detailed information regarding the various programmes proposed in the state under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, preparations for them, and the action plan for their effective implementation. They also apprised the Chief Minister of the district-wise preparations, coordination of programmes and arrangements being made to take the activities of the campaign to every section of society.
*‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ to Be Lit at Every Booth; Campaign to Reach Beneficiaries*
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini directed the officials to identify, across all 23 districts of the state, the projects inaugurated by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi as well as major development projects of Haryana, and organized special programmes at these locations during the campaign. On the evening of September 17, ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ should be lit at every booth in the state by visiting the homes of beneficiaries and members of the general public.
Beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi should be associated with this campaign, and diyas should be lit at their homes while bringing their experiences to the fore. The district administration should make arrangements for video recording of these programmes, and the related photographs and videos should be widely shared on social media.
The Chief Minister directed that seminars be organized in universities to take to the masses the development and welfare works carried out in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi during the last 12 years, as well as the changes these have brought to people’s lives. Documentaries related to the country’s development journey should be screened at public places, and the changes in the lives of women associated with self-help groups should also be prominently showcased.
*Beneficiary Lists to Be Prepared in Every District; No Eligible Person Should Be Left Out*
The Chief Minister said that a list of beneficiaries of Central Government schemes should be prepared in every district, and it should be ensured that no beneficiary is left out during the campaign. Ministers, MLAs, party workers as well as the general public should be associated with this public awareness campaign.
He said that Gram Sachivalayas, gymnasiums, works undertaken for farmers, roads, expressways and other major development projects should also be identified so that these development works can be effectively presented before the public.
He directed that children participating in painting, speech and other competitions should be encouraged and those who perform exceptionally well should be honoured. Maximum participation of both government and private schools should be ensured.
*Month-Long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to Begin on September 17*
It was informed at the meeting that the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be organized across the country from September 17 to October 17 on the occasion of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi completing 25 years of public life and service to the people. The objective of the campaign is to take Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s 25 years of service, good governance and nation-building efforts to every section of society, while also connecting every citizen with the resolve of Viksit Bharat@2047.
The campaign will begin on the evening of September 17 with the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme. Under this initiative, workers will visit the homes of members of the public and beneficiaries of various government schemes at every booth and light a diya as a symbol of the people’s trust, gratitude towards the Prime Minister and their resolve for a bright future for the country.
*Children’s Talent to Showcase the Dream of a Viksit Bharat*
From September 17 to October 7, painting and speech competitions will be organized in schools. Through these competitions, children will get an opportunity to express their imagination and dreams of a developed India in the year 2047. Exhibitions of the best paintings will be organized, and children who perform exceptionally well will be honoured with special certificates bearing the signature of the Chief Minister.
In the same sequence, a 25- to 30-minute musical street play titled ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ will be presented to take the social and economic changes that have taken place in the country over the past 25 years to the masses through art and culture. It will be taken from village to village, and special performances will be organized at 100 prominent locations across the country on October 2.
*Special Celebrations at Anganwadi Centres*
Between September 25 and October 7, three-day special celebrations will be organized at Anganwadi centres. During this period, Anganwadi and ASHA workers will be publicly felicitated, and mothers will be provided important information related to health and nutrition.
The experiences of people who have benefited from various welfare schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Mission Indradhanush, will be brought before the public through ‘Kahani Badlav Ki’. Short videos and reels featuring inspiring stories of beneficiaries from across the country will be prepared, presenting the real picture of development through the experiences of the beneficiaries themselves.
*‘Seva Setu’ to Take Benefits of Schemes to Every Household*
During the campaign, special ‘Seva Setu’ camps will be organized at the block level. Through these camps, the administration will reach out directly to the public and make efforts to provide eligible persons with the benefits of various government schemes and services. The Chief Minister directed that the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ should also be prominently linked with these camps so that extensive awareness and assistance can be ensured for providing the benefits of the scheme to eligible women.
Under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana, the eligibility limit for annual family income will now be increased to Rs. 1.80 lakh. Following this expansion, the target is to add approximately 17 lakh new beneficiaries to the scheme in the state. Payment of the scheme amount to eligible beneficiaries will begin from November 1.
Through the ‘Seva Setu’ camps, eligible women will be provided information regarding the eligibility criteria, application process and necessary formalities of the scheme, so that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of the scheme.
*‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ Programme to Be Held at 180 Locations in 90 Assembly Constituencies*
Under the ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ campaign, social service activities will be organized at 180 locations across all 90 Assembly constituencies of the state. The Chief Minister directed that every MLA as well as energetic and active members of society should be associated with these programmes so as to ensure the participation of as many people as possible.
Through this initiative, citizens will be called upon to devote at least 25 minutes to social service. Activities such as blood donation, plantation, cleanliness of public places and assistance to needy people will be undertaken to take this resolve of service to every section of society.
Under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, people from Haryana living abroad in 25 countries, where the time of sunrise is different, will be connected with the campaign. Yajnas will be organized in these countries at the time of sunrise, in which people from Haryana will also ensure their participation.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will extend a special invitation to the people of Haryana to participate in these programmes. Through this initiative, the resolve of service, values and a developed India will be taken forward globally with the participation of Haryana.
*Haryana’s Young Innovators to Showcase Their Talent*
A ‘National Innovation Challenge’ will be organized at the national level under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Five major centres have been proposed for this purpose, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata. Haryana will participate through the Delhi centre, where young innovators, startups and youth working in the field of innovation from the state will participate in the conference.
During the conference, a special exhibition of innovations developed by startups and young innovators from Haryana will also be organized, in which their products and technological solutions will be demonstrated live.
This initiative will provide Haryana’s youth with a national platform to showcase their innovation capabilities, while also connecting them with the country’s development journey and the resolve of building a developed India.
*‘Seva Jyoti’ to Reinforce the Resolve for a Viksit Bharat*
Under the campaign, ‘Seva Jyoti’, that is, Sankalp Mashaal Yatras, will be taken out from every district and village. Youth, citizens and workers will participate together in these journeys and take a collective resolve to make India a developed nation.
During the journey, public dialogues will be organized at more than 60 locations. At the conclusion of the Sankalp Mashaal Yatras, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will address gatherings in 750 prominent districts.
In these programmes, the development works carried out and achievements of welfare schemes implemented in the respective districts and surrounding areas during the past years will be discussed. At the same time, a collective resolve will be taken to take forward the country’s development journey under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and build a developed India by 2047.
The country’s cultural diversity and the message of environmental protection will also be connected with the campaign. ‘Human Rangoli’ will be used in major cities to showcase India’s diverse cultures, while a huge ‘Bharat Mandal’ made from natural materials will convey the message of culture and environmental protection.
*‘Jansevak Mahakumbh’ on October 17*
The month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will conclude on October 17 with the ‘Jansevak Mahakumbh’.
On this occasion, approximately 1.25 lakh public representatives, from the Panchayat level to Parliament, will come together.
In Haryana too, this historic event will be connected with extensive public participation, with representatives of all Panchayats of the state participating. Through these programmes, a collective resolve will be taken to take the development journey forward from villages to the nation and to build a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Chief Minister’s Chief Principal Secretary Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, OSD to CM Sh. B.B. Bharti, Media Secretary to CM Sh. Parveen Attrey and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
In addition, Deputy Commissioners and senior officials from various districts of the state participated through video conferencing and shared information regarding the preparations for the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ and the programmes being organized in their respective districts.
