Youth Power is the Greatest Strength in Nation-Building: Mahipal Dhanda

 

  

Chandigarh, August 13: A grand Tiranga Yatra was organised in the Panipat Rural Assembly constituency on Thursday under the leadership of Haryana Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda. A felicitation ceremony for state President Dr. Archana Gupta was also organised on the occasion. A large number of citizens, youth, BJP office-bearers and workers participated in the yatra carrying the Tricolour, and the entire route was filled with patriotic fervour.

 

The Tiranga Yatra commenced from the Shyam Kamal District BJP Office located in Sector 13-17. The yatra passed through Sector 13-17, Ansal, Noorwala Adda and Barsat Road before reaching the Martyrs’ Memorial at the District Secretariat, where tributes were paid to the martyrs. The atmosphere throughout the yatra remained immersed in patriotism. Young people were seen riding motorcycles carrying the Tricolour, while a large number of citizens participated in the yatra on foot. People welcomed the yatra at various places. The youth enthusiastically raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and patriotism, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour. The presence of youth and citizens waving the Tricolour gave the yatra a grand appearance.

 

On the occasion, Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that the Tricolour is not merely a flag being waved in our hands, but a symbol of the honour, pride and glory of the nation. He said that the objective of the Tiranga campaign being carried out across the country on the call of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is to further strengthen the sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation in the heart of every citizen.

 

He said that the massive public participation witnessed in Panipat Rural today sends a message that every citizen is fully committed to the unity, integrity and honour of the nation. Youth power is the greatest strength in nation-building, and remembering the sacrifices of our brave martyrs, we should resolve to build a developed, strong and self-reliant India.

 

Mayor Komal Saini, former Mayor Avneet Kaur, MP’s Representative Gajendra Saluja, Zila Parishad Chairperson Jyoti Sharma and other dignitaries were present during the yatra.
