Sale of Improved Potato Seed Varieties Begins at Technology Demonstration Centre, Sewah Kheri, Panipat

Chandigarh, September 18 – Quality potato seeds of various varieties for the year 2026-27 are now available for sale at the Technology Demonstration Centre, Sewah Kheri, Panipat, established by the Haryana Horticulture Department.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that interested farmers can obtain potato seeds directly from the Centre by making online booking and payment through the Department’s Hortsalenet portal. Improved potato varieties, including Kufri Pukhraj G-3, Kufri Mohan G-4, Kufri Neelkanth G-4, Kufri Khyati G-1 and Kufri Uday G-1, have been made available for sale at the Centre.

The spokesperson further said that potato seeds are being sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Farmers can book their seed requirements in time through the Horticulture Department’s Hortsalenet website.
