Run for Unity events across all districts to mark 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel; CM to administer National Unity Day pledge to officers and employees

Haryana to Celebrate National Unity Day on October 31; CM Nayab Singh Saini to Attend State-Level Function in Panchkula

Haryana will celebrate National Unity Day on October 31 to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with Run for Unity events and various other programmes being organised across the state. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the state-level function in Panchkula as the chief guest.

The Chief Minister will also administer the National Unity Day pledge to officers and employees at the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh at 10 am on October 31.

Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has issued the district-wise schedule detailing the programmes and dignitaries who will participate in the celebrations.

District-wise programmes

In Ambala, Energy Minister Anil Vij will be the chief guest. MLA Shally Chaudhary and Pawan Saini will participate in the programme at Naraingarh, Aseem Goel in Ambala City and Santosh Sarwan in Mullana.

In Bhiwani, Women and Child Development and Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Shruti Choudhry will be the chief guest, while MLA Ghanshyam Saraf will also be present. Kapoor Singh will participate in the programme at Bawani Khera and Jai Parkash Dalal in Loharu.

In Charkhi Dadri, MP Dharambir Singh will be the chief guest. MLA Umed Singh will participate in Badhra and Sunil Satpal Sangwan in Charkhi Dadri.

In Faridabad, Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar will be the chief guest. Dhanesh Adlakha will participate in Badkhal, Mool Chand Sharma in Ballabhgarh, Satish Kumar Phagna in Faridabad NIT and Tek Chand Sharma in Prithla.

In Fatehabad, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi will be the chief guest. Devender Singh Babli will participate in Tohana, Dura Ram in Fatehabad, and Jarnail Singh and Sunita Duggal in Ratia.

In Gurugram, Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh will be the chief guest. Bimla Chaudhary will participate in Pataudi, Mukesh Sharma in Gurugram and Tejpal Tanwar in Sohna.

In Hansi, Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma will be the chief guest, while MLA Vinod Bhayana will also be present. Captain Abhimanyu will participate in the programme at Narnaund.

In Hisar, Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa will be the chief guest. MLAs Savitri Jindal and Kamal Gupta will also be present. Randhir Panihar will participate in Nalwa, Bhavya Bishnoi in Adampur and Anoop Dhankar in Uklana.

In Jhajjar, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajesh Nagar will be the chief guest. Rajesh Joon and Naresh Kaushik will participate in the programme at Bahadurgarh, Om Parkash Dhankhar in Badli, Kaptan Birdhana in Jhajjar and Sanjay Kablana in Beri.

In Jind, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Krishan Lal Middha will be the chief guest. Ram Kumar Gautam will participate in Safidon, Devender Chaarbhuj Attri in Uchana Kalan and Captain Yogesh Bairagi in Julana.

In Kaithal, Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma will be the chief guest. Satpal Jamba will participate in Pundri, Kamlesh Dhanda in Kalayat, Leela Ram in Kaithal and Kulwant Ram Bazigar in Guhla.

In Karnal, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power Manohar Lal Khattar and Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan will be the chief guests. MLA Jagmohan Anand will also be present. Bhagwan Dass will participate in Nilokheri, Ram Kumar Kashyap in Indri and Yoginder Singh Rana in Assandh.

In Kurukshetra, MP Naveen Jindal will be the chief guest. Subhash Kalsana will participate in Shahbad, Subhash Sudha in Thanesar/Kurukshetra and Jai Bhagwan Sharma in Pehowa.

In Mahendragarh, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao will be the chief guest, while MLA Kanwar Singh will also be present. Om Parkash Yadav will participate in Narnaul and Abhe Singh Yadav in Nangal Chaudhary.

In Nuh, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Vipul Goel will be the chief guest, while Sanjay Singh will also be present. Naseem Ahmed will participate in Ferozepur Jhirka, while MLA Mohd. Ilyas and Ejaz Khan will attend the programme in Punhana.

In Palwal, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Minister Gaurav Gautam will be the chief guest. Harinder Singh will participate in Hodal, while Mohd. Israil and Manoj Rawat will participate in the programme at Hathin.

In Panchkula, Gian Chand Gupta will also attend the state-level programme, while MLA Shakti Rani Sharma will participate in the programme at Kalka.

In Panipat, Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar will be the chief guest, while MLA Pramod Kumar Vij will also be present. Manmohan Bhadana will participate in Samalkha.

In Rewari, Union Minister Rao Inderjeet Singh will be the chief guest, while MLA Laxman Singh Yadav will also be present. Dr Krishan Kumar will participate in Bawal and Anil Yadav in Kosli.

In Rohtak, Cooperation Minister Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma will be the chief guest, while Manish Grover will also be present. Deepak Niwas Hooda will participate in Meham, Manju Hooda in Sampla and Renu Dabala in Kalanaur.

In Sirsa, Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala will be the chief guest, while Rohtash Jangra will also be present. Rajinder Singh Desujodha will participate in Kalanwali, Baldev Singh Mangiana in Dabwali, Amir Chand Mehta in Ellenabad and Shishpal Kamboj in Rania.

In Sonipat, School Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda will be the chief guest, while MLA Nikhil Madaan will also be present. Devender Kadyan and Devender Kaushik will participate in Ganaur, Pawan Kharkhoda in Kharkhoda, Krishana Gahlawat in Rai and Pradeep Sangwan in Baroda.

The celebrations will include Run for Unity events and other programmes to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's contribution to national integration and reinforce the message of unity and national solidarity.

In Yamunanagar, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana will be the chief guest, while MLA Ghanshyam Dass will also be present. Kanwar Pal Gujjar will participate in Jagadhri, while Renu Bala and Balwant Singh will attend the programme in Sadhaura
