Chandigarh, September 18 – The Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department has extended the last dates for ‘on-the-spot’ admissions against vacant seats under NCVT and SCVT for the 2026-27 session in all Government and Private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the State.
Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the last date for admission against vacant NCVT seats has now been extended to September 22, 2026, while the last date for admission against vacant SCVT seats has been extended to September 29, 2026. The entire admission process will be completed at the institute level. Fresh online applications are being invited from candidates seeking admission through the Department’s admission website.
The spokesperson further clarified that admissions will be carried out at the institute level on the basis of a combined merit list of fresh and previous applications, and no reservation of any kind will be applicable. Candidates seeking admission to a particular institute will have to submit their merit card at the concerned institute by 12 noon on the prescribed dates.
Candidates will also be required to appear in person at the institute with all their original certificates and deposit the admission fee online on the spot. Candidates can download their merit card from the admission portal, where institute-wise details of vacant seats are also available.
The spokesperson further clarified that admission already taken under NCVT will not be considered cancelled on the basis of the aforesaid admissions. All other rules and conditions mentioned in the prospectus for the 2026-27 session will remain unchanged.
