Chandigarh, September 16 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, said that on September 17, the entire State will honour Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and his journey in public life dedicated to the nation. He said that the Prime Minister’s journey of public service exemplifies how true leadership is defined not by position, but by service and dedication.

 

The Chief Minister said that it is with this objective that the nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is being organised. The campaign will mark Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and his dedicated service to the nation.

 

Highlighting Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s special connection with Haryana, the Chief Minister said that Sh. Narendra Modi has visited Haryana 18 times as Prime Minister. During these visits, the State has received development projects worth over Rs. 86,000 crore. He said that on this special occasion, people across Haryana will express their appreciation for the Prime Minister’s journey of service by participating in the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme.

 

The Chief Minister urged the people of Haryana to light an ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ at their homes between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on September 17. He said that the diya will symbolise the people’s good wishes for Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s good health and long life, as well as their acknowledgement of his 25 years of public service. Let us light a diya for the Prime Minister and take a pledge for the nation, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
