Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board has already approved the construction of a road from Nangal Drain

 

 

Chandigarh, August 31 – Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana informed the House that the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board has already approved the construction of a road from Nangal Drain (Patti) to Ambwali village, Block Pratap Nagar, in the Jagadhri Assembly constituency in 2011-12. However, the required revenue pathway is yet to be made available, and efforts are underway in this regard. The construction work will commence as soon as the pathway is made available.

 

The Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister was replying to a question raised by a Member during the Monsoon Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.

 

He further informed that although the work for construction of the said road was allotted to a contractor on February 20, 2014, the construction could not commence as the route was not available as per the revenue records.

 

He said that a fresh report is now being sought regarding the availability of the revenue pathway, and further action will be taken accordingly.
