In his video address, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini extended his best wishes to exporters, entrepreneurs and all participants. He said that Haryana had completed 60 glorious years of its formation on November 1. Over these six decades, the hard work of the state's farmers, workers and entrepreneurs had established Haryana as a leading centre of agriculture and industry.

He said the government's next objective was to take Haryana's products to markets across the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, India's Free Trade Agreements had opened up new opportunities for accessing the markets of 36 developed countries. The Haryana Government was committed to extending the benefits of these opportunities to the state's industries, MSMEs, farmers and youth.

The Chief Minister informed that Haryana's merchandise exports exceeded USD 20 billion in the financial year 2025-26, placing the state sixth in the country in terms of total exports.

New Export Policy Aims to Double Haryana's Exports in Five Years: CM

The Chief Minister said that Gurugram's automobile and IT sectors, Faridabad's engineering products, Panipat's home textiles, Karnal's basmati rice, Jhajjar's footwear and Ambala's scientific instruments had established Haryana's identity in international markets.

He said the implementation of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement had opened new opportunities for Haryana's textile, garment, footwear and other sectors. To fully benefit from these opportunities, exporters must understand international market demand, tariff concessions, rules of origin and quality standards.

He further informed that the Haryana Government had recently notified the Haryana Progressive MSME and Export Promotion Policy-2026, which aims to double the state's exports over the next five years.

The policy includes special provisions to connect small entrepreneurs, first-time exporters, women entrepreneurs and rural producers with global markets while reducing their risks. Similarly, the Make in Haryana Industrial Policy-2026 provides special export-linked incentives for large industries.

The Chief Minister urged industries to integrate MSMEs into their supply chains and give special attention to product quality and technology.

Addressing the workshop, Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, India had entered into Free Trade Agreements with several countries, opening new doors for Indian industries and exporters in global markets.

He said the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047 could not be achieved through agriculture alone. Expansion of industries and a substantial increase in exports were equally essential.

He called upon entrepreneurs to manufacture high-quality products and compete effectively in international markets. He also urged experienced exporters to encourage and guide new entrepreneurs so that more industries could become part of the export ecosystem and India could establish a stronger presence in global trade.

Over 70% of Suggestions from Industrialists Incorporated into New Industrial and MSME Policies: Rao

He said Haryana's policies were more progressive and industry-friendly compared to those of several other states. The government's objective was to ensure that the benefits of these policies and schemes reached the last beneficiary, encourage new exporters and take the state's exports to new heights.

He urged the industrial sector to make maximum use of these initiatives and contribute to the economic progress of both Haryana and the country.
