Month-Long Campaign from November 1 to 30 to Facilitate Hassle-Free Submission of Digital Life Certificates

Chandigarh,

The Haryana Government has decided to participate in the National Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0, being conducted across the state from November 1 to 30, 2026, in line with the Government of India's initiative. The campaign aims to facilitate the convenient submission of Digital Life Certificates (DLCs) by pensioners through digital means, ensuring timely and uninterrupted disbursement of pensions.

Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Haryana, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal said that approximately 2.60 lakh Haryana Government pensioners and family pensioners will benefit from the campaign. These include pensioners receiving pensions through the e-Pension system via Treasuries, Sub-Treasuries and the Pension Disbursement Cell (PDC), as well as through pension-disbursing banks, including State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of India (BOI), Union Bank of India (UBI), Central Bank of India (CBI) and Canara Bank.

He said that to ensure effective implementation and coordination of the campaign, the State Government has appointed Sh. Rakesh Kumar Rathi, Joint Director (PDC), Treasuries and Accounts Department, Haryana, as the State Nodal Officer. All Treasury Officers across Haryana, including Chandigarh, have been designated as Sub-Nodal Officers for their respective districts.

Sh. Sudhir Rajpal further said that all concerned officers have been directed to take effective measures to ensure the successful implementation of the campaign and facilitate pensioners in submitting their Digital Life Certificates without inconvenience.

Multiple Options Available for Submission of Digital Life Certificates

Director General, Treasuries and Accounts Department, Sh. Hitesh Kumar Meena said that pensioners and family pensioners can submit their life certificates through several convenient modes. These include biometric devices, face authentication applications on smartphones, doorstep services provided by India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), and personal visits to the nearest Treasury or Sub-Treasury Office.

He urged all pensioners and family pensioners to take full advantage of the campaign and submit their Digital Life Certificates through the mode most convenient to them. He said that the detailed procedure for submitting DLCs is available on the e-Pension Portal under the "Download Manual" option.

Special Facility for Elderly, Bedridden and Ailing Pensioners

Sh. Hitesh Kumar Meena further informed that special arrangements can be made for very elderly, bedridden or ailing pensioners and family pensioners who are unable to submit their Digital Life Certificates through any of the available modes.

Such pensioners may submit a request, along with full justification, to the concerned Treasury Officer or Assistant Treasury Officer for facilitating the submission of their Digital Life Certificates from their homes, hospitals or other appropriate locations.

For further information or assistance regarding the campaign and submission of Digital Life Certificates, pensioners and family pensioners may contact their nearest Treasury or Sub-Treasury Office.
