Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh Pays Tribute to Former President Pranab Mukherjee

Chandigarh, August 31 - Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Monday paid floral tribute to Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India, on his punyatithi at Lok Bhavan here.

Paying homage to the former President, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh recalled his outstanding contribution to the nation and his distinguished public life. He said that Shri Pranab Mukherjee was an eminent statesman who made significant contributions to strengthening India’s democratic and parliamentary institutions.

The Governor said that Shri Pranab Mukherjee’s commitment to public service, constitutional values and democratic traditions would continue to inspire future generations.

Prof. Ghosh paid his respects and remembered the former President with reverence on his punyatithi.
