Chandigarh, August 21 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the future belongs to new technology, innovation and fresh ideas. Today’s youth are not limited to seeking jobs; they aspire to establish their own enterprises and create employment opportunities for others. The Haryana Government is making efforts to provide proper guidance, technical assistance, training and financial support to transform the dreams and innovative ideas of youth into reality.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was interacting directly with Gen-Z youth and young entrepreneurs at the Gen-H Startup Summit–Yuva Udyami Chaupal organized at Gurugram University. He said that the objective of the programme was not to deliver a formal speech from a conventional platform, but to sit among the youth, listen to their ideas, understand their challenges and answer their questions directly.

The Chief Minister said, “The future belongs to new technology, innovation and fresh ideas.” He called upon youth to keep themselves updated with changing technology and make efforts to transform their ideas into startups and successful enterprises instead of limiting them to the idea stage. Industry Minister Rao Narbir Singh, OSD to the Chief Minister Raj Nehru, Virender Badkhalasa and Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University Professor Sanjay Kaushik were also present on the occasion.

*Journey from Idea to Enterprise and Enterprise to Employment*

The Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of talent and potential among the youth of Haryana. What is needed is to provide their ideas with the right direction, expert guidance and necessary resources. With this objective, the State Government is developing a strong entrepreneurship ecosystem where youth can access the information and support required to transform their ideas into businesses.

He said that the government’s vision is clear—“Idea to Enterprise and Enterprise to Employment.” This means transforming an idea into an enterprise and, through that enterprise, creating employment opportunities not only for oneself but also for other youth.

The Chief Minister said that the government is bringing educational institutions, the industry, startups and social organizations onto a common platform to provide youth with opportunities to move forward.

*Government to extend all possible support to young entrepreneurs*

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the Central and State Governments would provide all possible assistance to help youth realize their dreams. Providing funding, technical assistance, training, mentorship and guidance regarding market requirements to young people starting startups is among the government’s priorities.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that there are currently 12,500 startups in the State. He called upon each startup to create one more startup so that a network of more than 25,000 startups can be established across the State.

He said that the Gen-H Yuva Udyami Chaupal is an important platform taking this vision forward. Successful young entrepreneurs are sharing their experiences at the programme so that youth aspiring to start new ventures can understand how an idea can be developed into a successful business.

*Practical training provided to youth through six Master Classrooms*

Six Master Classrooms were set up at the programme, where successful entrepreneurs provided youth with information on various aspects of establishing and scaling startups. Around 50 youth were trained in each Master Classroom.

The Chief Minister said that merely providing training is not enough; it is equally important to connect youth with practical experience. With this objective, arrangements have been made to connect the trained youth with MSMEs so that they can understand the real business environment and take their enterprises forward more effectively.

*Direct guidance from successful entrepreneurs at Startup Room*

At the Yuva Udyami Chaupal, successful entrepreneurs provided youth with insights into the intricacies of starting a startup at the Startup Room. Banks provided information related to loans and financial assistance, while experts from the Skill University also provided the youth with necessary training and guidance.

The Chief Minister said that youth should know where to approach for assistance or guidance at any stage after starting their startup. The government is developing a mechanism in this direction so that no young entrepreneur feels alone and receives appropriate institutional support to take their idea forward.

*‘Yuva Udyamita Yatra’ to reach every district of Haryana*

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, while flagging off the ‘Yuva Udyamita Yatra’, said that the initiative would not remain confined to Gurugram. Through the Yatra, colleges, universities, ITIs, coaching institutes and other educational institutions across all districts of the State would be covered.

He directed officials to finalize the routes of the Yatra in advance and ensure that students at the educational institutions to be covered are informed about it well in advance. Youth should be informed about how they can avail themselves of the guidance and assistance available through the Yatra to turn their startup ideas into reality.

The Chief Minister also directed that exhibitions be organized at various locations during the Yatra and bank stalls be set up to provide youth with information regarding loans and financial assistance.

*More than 45,000 ideas, 400 young entrepreneurs and a platform for new possibilities*

The Gen-H Startup Summit witnessed a comprehensive display of the entrepreneurial potential of the State’s youth. More than 45,000 ideas have emerged so far through the State’s Ideathon, while around 400 young entrepreneurs participated in the summit. Selected young entrepreneurs shared their experiences, challenges and new ideas through roundtable discussions.

The Chief Minister said that such a large number of innovative ideas emerging from youth is proof that Haryana’s young generation is moving forward with fresh thinking and new possibilities. The need is to provide these ideas with the right direction and transform them into successful enterprises.

The Chief Minister told the youth that the world is changing rapidly. In such a scenario, understanding and using Artificial Intelligence, robotics and other modern technologies is extremely important. The faster youth adopt new technologies, the faster they will become capable of competing at the global level.

He said that the youth of Haryana should not remain confined to the State or the country, but should move forward with the vision of taking their ideas and products to global markets.

*Chief Minister listens to youth and responds directly to their questions*

The open interaction between Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini and the youth was the most important part of the programme. The youth raised questions and shared their views with the Chief Minister on issues related to starting startups, funding, technical support, training, employment and future opportunities.

The Chief Minister assured the youth that the government is taking their ideas and aspirations seriously. He said that the government’s endeavour is to ensure that talented youth do not merely become job seekers, but develop the capacity to establish their own enterprises and create employment opportunities for others.

He told the youth that instead of being discouraged by challenges and failures on the path to success, they should learn from them and move forward. A successful enterprise can begin with a small idea, but consistent efforts, proper guidance and innovative thinking can transform it into a major success.

*Youth power is the greatest strength of a Viksit Haryana*

The Chief Minister said that the youth of Haryana are the State’s greatest strength. The government is continuously working to connect the energy, talent and innovative thinking of youth with the economic development of the State.

He said that the Gen-H Yuva Udyami Chaupal is not merely an event, but a comprehensive initiative to encourage Haryana’s youth towards entrepreneurship. Its objective is to convey to every young person in the State that if they have a new idea, they can receive opportunities, guidance and support.

The Chief Minister called upon youth to dream big, move forward with fresh thinking and resolve to transform their ideas into reality. He said that the government stands with the youth to give wings to their dreams.
