Chandigarh, September 15: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Lord Ganesha, besides being the remover of obstacles, also gives us positive inspiration to lead our lives. The form of Lord Ganesha conveys the message that for a person who has gained control over his mind and desires, no problem in life remains too difficult.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was addressing the devotees at the grand Ganesh Mahotsav organised at the Central Park Lawn and Banquet in Sector-12 on Tuesday. Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh and Lady Governor Mitra Ghosh also participated in the Ganesh Utsav. Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel, Minister of State Rajesh Nagar and Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Rajiv Jaitly were also present on the occasion.

Recalling ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes on Ganesh Mahotsav to all the organisers, artists and devotees present on the occasion.

He said that saints, religious institutions and social organisations have played an important role in continuously taking Sanatan culture forward. Such religious events are a powerful medium for passing on our rich cultural and spiritual traditions to the younger generation.

The Chief Minister said that Ganesh Mahotsav is not limited to worship and rituals, but is also an occasion to strengthen social bonds, give positive direction to the youth and take a resolve towards nation building. He said that our prayer should be that Lord Ganesha gives us the courage to face obstacles and overcome difficult situations that arise in life through our own efforts.

He said that we pray to Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles from everyone's life and bless the people of the state with happiness, peace, prosperity and strength. He said that such events further strengthen the spirit of mutual brotherhood, unity and harmony in society.

The Chief Minister said that he had the opportunity to participate in the Ganesh Mahotsav this year as well, for which he expressed his gratitude to the organisers. He extended his best wishes to all the devotees present on the occasion and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state.
