Chandigarh, October 13: Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij on Monday strongly criticised the protests held in Delhi by the CJP and other parties, alleging that certain external forces want to disturb peace in India and create anarchy in the country. “I have said earlier as well that some external forces want to disrupt peace in India and create anarchy here. These people are acting at their behest,” Vij said. Raising questions over the protests, he asked who had brought all these groups together in Delhi on the same day.
“For the first time in my life, I have seen people protesting outside a court. It appears that they want to put pressure on and influence the functioning of impartial courts so that the verdict goes in their favour,” he said, adding that Rahul Gandhi and other parties had raised questions about the impartiality of the judiciary.
Vij was speaking to the media personx on Monday.
He said the opposition should pursue the legal course by filing a case, as the matter had already been taken up by the court and notice had been issued. “Are they now trying to intimidate the Supreme Court over this issue? The Supreme Court will not be intimidated. Our country’s judiciary is functioning impartially, and no one can exert pressure on it,” he said.
Modern Dairy Complex to be developed in Brahman Majra, Ambala Cantonment*
Speaking about the proposed Modern Dairy Complex, Vij said that the government had acquired 21 acres of land in Brahman Majra village of Ambala Cantonment some time ago, and the plans for the project had already been approved. He said the complex would have a separate designated area for livestock, along with a rest house where dairy owners could relax. To ensure convenient access to the complex, a new bridge would also be constructed over the Tangri River near Ekta Vihar, so that dairy owners would not have to take a longer route.
Vij said the tender for the bridge had already been awarded, but work was halted due to certain hurdles. Construction work would resume soon, he added. The Minister said that all dairies operating within the city would be shifted to the new complex, bringing them together at one location outside the city. “This will help eliminate the problem of dung and related filth in the city. We are providing a modern dairy complex equipped with a biogas plant and a solar power system, which will enable electricity generation. Other modern facilities will also be provided at the complex,” Vij said.
The government has already approved ₹60.19 crore for the development of the Modern Dairy Complex in Brahman Majra village, Ambala Cantonment. The project will provide modern facilities for both livestock and their owners.
