Chandigarh, September 18: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Friday participated in the two-day ‘Financing India’s Journey Towards Viksit Bharat’ conference organised by the Union Ministry of Finance at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The conference, chaired by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, is being attended by Finance Ministers and Finance Secretaries of states and Union Territories from across the country.
Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also holds the Finance portfolio of the state, and accordingly, he participated in this important conference.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that at the call of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the country is continuously moving towards the goal of Viksit Bharat. Today’s meeting is also an important part of this endeavour. The conference is deliberating on how to mobilise the financial resources required to make India a fully developed economy by 2047 and how to accelerate investment in collaboration with the states.
He said that the Haryana Government is also continuously making policy efforts to achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat. Policies are being formulated and implemented across various sectors, from industry to skill development, so that the state can move rapidly forward on the path of development.
The Chief Minister said that continuous policies are being formulated to strengthen the agriculture sector, particularly with regard to crop procurement and increasing farmers’ income. At the same time, the Haryana Government has formulated new industrial policies to strengthen the industrial ecosystem in the state. As a result of these policy initiatives, investment worth several thousand crore rupees has come to the state.
He said that the state government is also continuously working in the fields of IT, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and skill development so that employment and new employment opportunities can be created for the youth.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government has also presented its Vision Document in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. A resolve has been taken to make Haryana a $1 trillion economy and create new employment opportunities in the state.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the Haryana Government will continue to firmly implement such positive efforts towards realising the dream of Viksit Bharat.
