CM Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones of Projects Worth Rs. 135.42 Crore for Mahendragarh Assembly Constituency

*CM Makes Several Announcements for Mahendragarh Assembly Constituency*

Chandigarh, September 17 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, announced several development projects for Mahendragarh. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 52.50 lakh for construction of a road from Duloth Ahir to Sohli up to the Rajasthan border. Similarly, he announced Rs. 15 crore for canal water-based water body projects at Sohla and Mandola and another Rs. 15 crore for canal water-based water body projects at Dewas, Bhagdana, Majra Kalan and Deroli Jat. He also announced Rs. 5 crore for construction of the Dulana-Rewari road.

The Chief Minister made these  announcements  while addressing a programme organised in Mahendragarh on Thursday on the occasion of Bhagwan Vishwakarma Jayanti on Thursday. 

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that plots would be allotted as per rules through HSVP for the Jangir Dharamshala in Jind and the Vishwakarma Kaushal Bhawan and Hostel in Kurukshetra upon submission of applications. Besides, the Chief Minister announced Rs. 31 lakh from his discretionary fund for a hostel at the Jangir Brahmin Dharamshala in Mahendragarh and Rs. 31 lakh for the Jangir Dharamshala in Kurukshetra.

During the programme, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of projects worth Rs. 135.42 crore for the Mahendragarh Assembly Constituency.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the renovation of the Mahendragarh-Ateli road, completed at a cost of Rs. 13.70 crore; renovation of the Khatodara-Nangal Mala road, completed at a cost of Rs. 12.78 crore; a newly constructed 33 KV sub-station at Baghot village, built at a cost of Rs. 5.62 crore; a newly constructed Vyayamshala at Nawan, built at a cost of Rs. 69.70 lakh; a newly constructed veterinary hospital at Dulana village, built at a cost of Rs. 40.29 lakh; and a water works at Khudana village, constructed at a cost of Rs. 14.27 crore.

Similarly, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of an AYUSH dispensary to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 64.50 lakh at Surjanwas village in the Mahendragarh Assembly Constituency.

He also laid the foundation stones of a 33 KV sub-station to be constructed at Dalanwas village at a cost of Rs. 8.43 crore; a water works at Lawan village at a cost of Rs. 6.37 crore; a Rs. 12.80 crore drainage system project for waterlogging-prone locations near Brahmdev Chowk, Mahichan Mohalla and Government Model Sanskriti School in Mahendragarh city; a Rs. 20.52 crore sewerage system project in Mahendragarh city; a new building of the Mahendragarh Municipal Committee to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.37 crore; and the restoration of Mahendragarh Fort at a cost of Rs. 8.84 crore.

Besides, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for the construction of new buildings of 11 schools in the State at a cost of Rs. 26.37 crore and released a sports grant of Rs. 33.96 crore to 3,396 Government Senior Secondary Schools and Government High Schools at the rate of Rs. 1 lakh per school.
