Haryana has secured investment proposals worth approximately Rs 12,000 crore on the first day of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini's visit to Gujarat, marking a significant step towards accelerating industrial growth and strengthening the State's position as a preferred investment destination.

Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with various companies across key sectors, reflecting growing investor confidence in Haryana's industrial ecosystem and the State Government's sustained efforts to attract investment and promote industrial development.

Leading a high-level delegation to Gujarat, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini held one-on-one meetings with founders, Managing Directors (MDs) and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of several companies. The discussions focused on expanding existing business operations in Haryana, establishing new industrial units and exploring fresh investment opportunities. Industries and Commerce Minister Sh. Rao Narbir Singh was also present.

The MoUs signed during the visit include proposed investments of Rs 5,000 crore in defence textiles, Rs 2,000 crore in technical textiles and Rs 500 crore in industrial machinery. Agreements were also reached for investments of Rs 400 crore in solar energy and cosmetics manufacturing, and Rs 4,000 crore in the waste-to-energy sector.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini reaffirmed the State Government's commitment to extending comprehensive support to investors and entrepreneurs, emphasising that attracting investment and generating employment opportunities for the youth remain key priorities.

He said Haryana is making sustained efforts to further improve ease of doing business and create a conducive environment for investment. The Government is committed to facilitating the establishment and expansion of industries by providing a progressive policy framework, robust industrial infrastructure, improved connectivity and essential services through a single-window mechanism.

The Chief Minister said particular emphasis has been laid on simplifying regulatory procedures, ensuring time-bound approvals and strengthening interdepartmental coordination to facilitate investment and industrial growth. Haryana's industry-friendly policies, investment promotion schemes and single-window system are playing a pivotal role in enabling entrepreneurs to establish and operate their projects with greater ease.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also invited industrialists and investors to participate in the 'Happening Haryana Global Summit',  scheduled to be held in Haryana in April 2027.

Reiterating the Government's commitment to sustainable industrial development, the Chief Minister said concerted efforts are being made to ensure that industries investing in Haryana receive incentives admissible under the applicable rules, necessary statutory approvals and timely departmental support.

He said the State Government remains responsive to the evolving needs of industry and is committed to incorporating stakeholders' suggestions to further streamline policies and procedures. The objective, he added, is to eliminate avoidable procedural hurdles and enable investors to implement their projects within stipulated timelines.

Describing the MoUs as an important step towards expanding Haryana's industrial base, the Chief Minister said the proposed investments would encourage the growth of ancillary industries, foster new business partnerships and strengthen the State's industrial capabilities.

He said the implementation of these proposals is expected to generate new employment opportunities for the youth, stimulate local economic activity and contribute to the State's overall economic growth.

The Chief Minister further said the Haryana Government is focused on forging long-term partnerships with investors to position the State as a leading hub for investment, innovation, entrepreneurship and employment generation.
