The initiative will help reduce dependence on groundwater, conserve precious water resources and promote environmentally sustainable agricultural practices.
Smt. Shruti Choudhry said that the state government is continuously working towards effective management of water resources, keeping in view water conservation, environmental protection and farmers' welfare. She appealed to farmers to recognise the importance of every drop of water, use it judiciously during irrigation and actively participate in water conservation initiatives.
