State Government to celebrate Haryana's Diamond Jubilee as a year of commitment to development

Chandigarh,

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Ladwa is not merely an Assembly constituency for him, but his own home and family. He has always considered the responsibility entrusted to him by the people of Ladwa as a matter of great honour. The blessings of the people of the region are his strength, and the development of Ladwa is his responsibility. He is committed to ensuring that the pace of development in Ladwa never slows down.

The Chief Minister was addressing the people of the region at a Diwali Milan function organised in Ladwa on Friday. His wife, Smt. Suman Saini, was also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that the festival of lights conveys five distinct messages. Dhanteras symbolises good health, wealth and prosperity; Diwali celebrates the victory of light over darkness and hope over despair; Govardhan Puja conveys a message of gratitude towards nature, livestock and farmers, while Bhai Dooj strengthens the bonds of love and affection among family members. He said that the true joy of festivals is meaningful only when every section of society is happy and every family prospers.

On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini extended a major benefit to lakhs of families across the state by transferring an amount of Rs. 4,470 crore and 77 lakh directly into the bank accounts of lakhs of beneficiaries, Panchayati Raj Institutions and Municipalities under various public welfare schemes. The Chief Minister also distributed cheques worth approximately Rs. 7.34 lakh to Shri Krishna Gaushala Samiti, Ladwa; Rs. 7.63 lakh to Akhand Gaushala, Mathana; and Rs. 19.56 lakh to Mathana Govansh Dham and Research Institute.

The Chief Minister said that the people of Ladwa have always stood by one another with love, brotherhood and a strong sense of belonging. Wealth may remain in one's treasury, but the real treasure resides in people's hearts. He said that during festivals, we must also care for the happiness of those who are going through difficult times.

He said that Diwali commemorates the return of Lord Sri Ram to Ayodhya. The life of Lord Sri Ram teaches us that leadership is not about exercising authority, but about duty, sacrifice and public service. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the dream of a grand Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been realised. Just as people celebrated the return of Lord Sri Ram to Ayodhya by lighting lamps, the entire country is today celebrating the festival of lights with pride and devotion. He urged everyone to imbibe the ideals of Lord Shri Ram in their lives and spread the light of dignity, compassion and harmony in society.

The Chief Minister said that the Diwali Milan function provides an opportunity to meet people, share fond memories and chart a course for the future. Appreciating the contributions of all BJP workers, he said that they had worked tirelessly, reaching out to every household and taking the party's ideology to the masses. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to every party worker.

He said that Haryana completed 60 glorious years of its formation on November 1. The state's Diamond Jubilee will not be limited to celebrations alone; rather, it will be observed as a year dedicated to the resolve for development. Just as we decorate and beautify our homes during Diwali, everyone should collectively resolve to take Ladwa to new heights of development.

He said that the government's objective is to provide opportunities to every individual, dignity to every person and an opportunity to every citizen to contribute to the bright future of the nation. The Chief Minister wished all residents of the region happiness, prosperity and good health. He prayed that Maa Lakshmi bless every household with prosperity, the ideals of Lord Shri Ram inspire everyone to follow the path of righteousness, and the blessings of Lord Sri Krishna remain upon farmers, youth and every family in the state.

Former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, Chairman Gurnam Saini, Chairman Ravinder Sangwan, Chairman Subhash Kalsana, Market Committee Chairman Dr. Ganesh Dutt, Chairman Praveen Chaudhary and other prominent dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
