Applications Invited for Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar-2027*

Chandigarh, September 19 – The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has invited online applications for the Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar-2027. Applications can be submitted through the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal, awards.gov.in, till September 30.

Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the annual award has been instituted to recognise and honour the invaluable contribution and selfless service of individuals and organisations in the field of disaster management. The award is announced every year on January 23, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Only Indian citizens and Indian institutions are eligible to apply for the award. Eligible institutions include voluntary organisations, corporate entities, academic and research institutions, response and uniformed forces, and other institutions.

Applicants should have contributed to disaster management in areas such as prevention, mitigation, preparedness, rescue, response, relief, rehabilitation, research or innovation. Applications should include details of the work carried out in the field of disaster management.
