'Viksit Bharat-2047' Resolve Echoes in District-Level Programmes; Ministers, Public Representatives and Citizens Watch PM's Jind Programme Live
Chandigarh, July 17: District-level programmes were organised across all districts of Haryana on Friday to mark the flagging off of India's first hydrogen train from Jind by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, as well as the inauguration and foundation stone laying of several development projects related to railways, roads, healthcare and other infrastructure in Haryana.
Hon'ble Governor of Haryana Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini and Union Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting Sh. Ashwini Vaishnaw were present at the historic ceremony held at HUDA Ground in Jind.
At the district-level programmes organised across the state, the ministers in charge of the respective districts, MPs, MLAs, other public representatives, administrative officers and a large number of citizens watched the live telecast of the Prime Minister's programme and collectively pledged to realise the resolve of Viksit Bharat-2047.

Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij extended a unique welcome to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of Haryana. He said, “This monsoon brought something extraordinary; earlier, only raindrops used to fall, but this year there has been a shower of money, because Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has come to Haryana and brought development projects worth more than Rs 14,000 crore.” He said that these projects would give new momentum to the development of the state, while the launch of the country's first hydrogen train between Jind and Sonipat was a historic achievement for the nation.
Sh. Vij virtually joined the programme in Ambala today, marking the inauguration and foundation stone laying of various development projects by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi from Jind. He said that with the flagging off of the country's first hydrogen train between Jind and Sonipat, Haryana's name had been etched in history. He said that conventional energy resources such as coal, oil and gas are limited and are gradually depleting. In such a situation, hydrogen-based clean energy will shape the future of transportation.

Addressing the district-level programme in Sonipat, Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar said that today was a proud day not only for Haryana but for the entire country. Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi had ushered India into a new era of green transportation by flagging off the country's first hydrogen fuel-powered train from Jind. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for this historic achievement, he said that Haryana had earned this honour due to their visionary leadership.
He said that the hydrogen train is based on advanced fuel cell technology. Electricity is generated through a chemical process involving hydrogen and oxygen, which powers the train. No pollution is caused during this process and only water vapour is emitted. This technology is a major achievement for India in the fields of environmental protection and clean energy.

The Cabinet Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country was rapidly moving towards world-class infrastructure and the transformation taking place in the railway sector would prove to be a milestone for future generations.

Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Sh. Vipul Goel said that today was a historic day for Haryana and the country. He said that by launching the country's first hydrogen train from Jind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken an important step towards clean energy, modern transportation and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for this achievement, he also congratulated Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
He said that the Prime Minister had inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of various development projects worth approximately Rs 14,700 crore. These projects would give new momentum to the state's infrastructure, transportation, industry, energy and public amenities, further strengthening Haryana's development.

Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched India's first and longest hydrogen train from the land of Jind. The train would operate between Jind and Sonipat and its reach would be expanded in the coming times.
“India is changing and the country's influence is being felt across the world. We will collectively realise the Prime Minister's dream of building a developed India,” he said.
The Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister was addressing the gathering as the chief guest at the district-level programme organised in Kaithal.

Addressing the district-level ceremony in Bhiwani, Cabinet Minister Shruti Choudhry said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi had taken a major step towards making India a developed nation by launching the hydrogen train from the land of Jind. She said that it was a remarkable and historic moment that the people of the country would always remember. Cabinet Minister Shruti Choudhry said that this step taken by the Prime Minister from the land of Haryana would prove to be a milestone in making the country developed.
Cabinet Minister Shruti Choudhry said that with the inauguration of Pandit Neki Ram Sharma Government Medical College in Bhiwani by the Prime Minister, people would receive state-of-the-art healthcare facilities. She said that she had brought the medical college to the district and that it was now being dedicated to the people of Bhiwani. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, she said that he remained tirelessly engaged in working for the people of the state and listened to their problems till late at night. Historic work was also being carried out in the irrigation sector. She said that by providing a budgetary provision of Rs 6,000 crore for the Irrigation Department, the Chief Minister had taken a major step in the interest of farmers.

Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said that today was a historic and proud day for the entire country, particularly for Haryana. She said that the flagging off of the country's first hydrogen train from Jind and the modernisation of railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Scheme were symbols of India's technological capability and commitment to green development.
Addressing the programme organised at Maharshi Chyawan Government Medical College and Rao Tula Ram Hospital, Koriyawas, the Health Minister said that by gifting Haryana two new medical colleges—the Pandit Neki Ram Sharma Government Medical College in Bhiwani and Maharshi Chyawan Government Medical College and Rao Tula Ram Hospital in Koriyawas—constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 1,437.79 crore, the Prime Minister had created a new chapter in Haryana's healthcare sector.
