K. Makarand Pandurang Appointed Charkhi Dadri In-Charge, Will Oversee Key Development Projects
The Haryana Government has deputed Sh. K. Makarand Pandurang, Commissioner & Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Commissioner & Secretary, Mines & Geology Department, and CEO, Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, Panchkula, as In-charge of Charkhi Dadri district, in addition to his present duties.
An order to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi.
As per the order, the Administrative Secretaries and other IAS officers allotted districts will submit quarterly feedback to the Monitoring & Coordination Cell in the revised feedback format. The feedback will cover a review of projects costing ₹25 crore and above, along with a broad review of overall incidents of crime and occurrences of heinous crime.
The officers will also review Vigilance matters, particularly clearances falling within the ambit of Sections 17A and 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, as well as the efficacy and functioning of the service delivery mechanism envisaged under the Right to Service Act.
The review will further cover the functioning and key parameters of the Health, Education and Social Sectors. In addition, the officers will examine impediments faced by the DETC with regard to taxes, GST and other related matters.
The Administrative Secretaries may also interact with MLAs and other public representatives in the presence of the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police. They may also visit one important site relating to the Health and Education Departments in the allotted district.
